It seems as if an excellent football player who is a C student has more of an opportunity to receive a scholarship than an A student who is an average football (or basketball, or other sport) player. Why is that?

I would love to know all your opinions, current and prospective law students, on the place universities to study law at, aside from Oxford and Cambridge. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I would really appreciate feedback from law students everywhere as to how they are finding all years of their LLB Law degree studies. I will be studying in September and would really love to know first hand what to expect.

I am currently a senior in high school and my GPA is about a 4.3-4.5 (depending on which semesters you count). I might attend UCSB, UCLA, UCB, UCD, UCI, USC, or UCSD. I am just very scared because I have heard many of my intelligent friends in college saying that it is impossible to maintain a high GPA in college and to get into medical school. Is this true? What college would offer the best chances of getting a high GPA/getting accepted to med school? and do I have a chance?

I have a GPA of about a 4.4-4.5 and I applied to UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UCBerkeley, and USC. My major will be biochemisty and I intend on going to medical school. Overall, I enjoy learning yet I still go out and have fun (parties) but I don't like extreme situations. I do not drink/smoke/etc. Where do you think is the best place for me in regards to my major and lifestyle? Keep in mind I have to pay for all of my college costs so the cheaper the better? Thanks everyone!!
