I am a high school senior. I have roughly a rough 70-75 GPA . Im looking for a small business school to start off for a year so i can prove myself with a solid year of good grades and transfer to a better school. However i have had not so good grades this senior year and im looking for some advice.

I have a 3.1 GPA average. Despite that, i have alot of community service that I do and I'm also really involved in a non-profit organization helping children in 3rd world countries. I also go to a really good high school that I know has a lot of weight when applying to colleges. My grades the past two years (I'm a junior right now) have not been the greatest (around a B- average), however I know i can do well on my SAT and SAT II and the rest of school years.

What colleges would you say are in my range (I would prefer the Northeast/California)

what would you say are my chances of getting into a place like.. lets say BU?

We have a term paper in English and my course is architecture. So, it has to be related to my course. Can you suggest any topic? Not broad and I can easily research for it in the net or the library. Thanks!

The cover of my French book is falling off, and I still have one more semester I have to use it before I can burn it. Any suggestions? I'm in college, so the book is my own property.

I am about to graduate with a B.S. in Management Studies and would like to eventually become a project manager. I know there are a lot of certifications you can get, but would like to really focus on this kind of grad work.

Thanks!

I am a 22 yr old male graduating from college in May with my BA in Psych. I am planning to get my PHD as well. My problem is that I have issues identifying with my peers. They are almost all high upper middle class and above. I am from a middle class family (my parents both have good jobs, but we just get by) and I have issues identifying with others because of the fact I have never been to a country club, only on a real vacation once (We were an army family until my real dad walked out when I was 9),never went to a private prep school, always worked 50hrs a week since I was 16, and while I do fit in well as far as getting along, I am worried about when I get out of school about how to adjust to my new social class. I have went to school and busted my a.s.s. for all of this, but it seems really complicated and cloudy to me. What can I do? I am going to be making in the $90,000/yr range and I am not sure how to make the quickest and smoothest adaptation to this new world. What you think?

Hi, there!

I E-mailed an Australian university to get an answer for this question, but I got some unrelated answers two or three times ):

Okay, there is an Associate Degree in Business and Commerce via online studying I could be interested in. The degree encompasses 16 units spread over two years as full time studying. The Web-site for this university states that the "full international fee" is AUD 21,200 . But what do they mean by this? Is this for a full year or for the full degree meaning two years?

The most important consideration for me is knowing the fee per unit. So, if "full fee" means only 1 year, the price per unit is AUD 2,650 (AUD 21,200 divided by 8 units per year). However, if the "full fee" means 2 years, the price per unit is AUD 1,325 (AUD 21,200 divided by 16 units for the whole two years). What of these assumptions is correct?

Thanks very much,

CAL "Makberto"

So, I am already in my the end of my junior year in college and I decided to pursue med school. I haven't done alot of Science courses. The thing is, I went to a community college for 3 years and just transferred (and currently in) to a 4 year college . It's been a year and a half since my transfer.

It will take about a year and a half more to complete the pre-requisite science courses...

NOW, Do you recommend that I get my B.A. (graduate immediately - as planned, then get Science classes later) now or do you think I should EXTEND my stay in my university and take the required science courses (maybe even declare a double major in Bio) ??? WILL the med schools see my long stay for my undergrad years BADLY?

(By the way, I am currently completing a B.A. in History and flexible when it comes to "time" -- I am only 21 so it's okay).

THANKS!

I've given up on discovering what I really truly want to do for now.. and have to decided that next year I'll do some kind of tourism course and apply for either flight attendant jobs or jobs on a cruise line! I have no idea what schools are good for this so I'm asking? I prefer for it to be in Ontario, or NB or Halifax NS would probably be ok... So if you have an answer please tell me a bit about the school, location, the program if you happened to have taken it.. etc. Thanks! (Also the schools website would be helpful.)

My counselor offers an early graduation, which will cut off my junior year. I'm currently in my freshman year, and early graduation is pretty much possible for me. I have good grades too ( mostly above 95 and none below 90). Should I cut off one year and graduate early, or spend the junior year to take AP courses, in order to make my college access easier ? I'm taking some honors courses already.
