He forgave everyone and Truthfulness & Non-Violence were his two principles

and now-a-days people inspired from him can forgive their enemies

Jesus said love your neighbor, but love your enemy more, even the tax-collectors love their friends. And in reply to Peter who asked how many times you should forgive someone, 7 x 70 times. That's quite a few times. The thing about forgiveness though, it's as much for yourself as it is the other person.

Depends on the person...I think we are all better off if we could forgive our enemies but first one must forgive themselves....and this is a problem im having lol...ok i forgave 2 enemies....30 more to go >.<

to forgive your enemy you just need to realise that sometimes u also make mistakes and then what u need is just a big heart !!
