Higher Education (University +) - November 2006

Like can you just get a general bachelors degree in science or do you have to like get it like bachelors of science in biology or in chemisty.Is there a bachelor degree in diagnostic sonographer???

hey i have a 90-92 gpa,i took 6 APs,i play soccer, basketball and tennis, and im in around 8 clubs...im really want to be an orthapedist or athletic trainer (something around there)...i am also really interested in science as well...from a small town in ny....not a big partier(just like chilling out with my friends)

anyway what schools do you think ill be able to get into and will like...just tell me what u think...thanks!

What specific questions should I ask the university when I go for my tour. I am pretty sure where I want to go and am set on the program I want to do (Nutrition). I just want to know more specifically what I need. Two I thought of were: -what residences are around here other than the ones in the catelogue, and -is there a labtop that students prefer over another.. (Apple,Pc..How big HD)

I was rejected twice (two years, in a row), but the same set of grad schools. These are really top 10 ones, so it's tough, I know. But I'm really intent on going to these schools. I want to apply for a third time. I do have an updated record, research experience and reference letters, but can I apply "too many times?" to grad school? Or will they say, "oh, we've rejected him twice, we might as well reject him a third time?"

Here are my results from my report card A, A, A, A, A, B+, and a D(ouch). Well I'm a "regular" high school Jr., Math since middle school was always my worst subject. From middle school to high school i've always managed to get C's and B's but this year i feel like im taking an Accelarated Algebra 2 course when the class is suppose to be regular or college prep. If the teacher is going to treat us like AP students than atleast change that "R" to an "AP". The D pretty much screwed up my honor roll and GPA but will that D (in the most important year of high school) effect my chances of getting into a good college? Should I switch out of that class?

Are colleges violating a student's equal opportunity rights when they allow some students to enroll in classes earlier than others? Students who are not allowed to enroll in classes until a month later are often left with few classes to choose from which may cause them to graduate later due to lack of classes.

I am at a community college right now. I will finish Spring 08. My boyfriend is away at basic training right now. After he gets done with all of his schooling he wants to get married. I am having to think about where I want to transfer (biology/education major) and futher plans.
