One of my friend have done Bcom (Bachelor of commerce) from india but he failed in the last yr (in Third year) in 1 subject ie economics. So is it dat he is not a degree holder in Bcom. Is he a bcom graduate.

Why are you asking us? Why not ask him? He should know whether or not his university granted him a Degree. And if he doesn't know, he should be able to ask someone at the university who will tell him. There is certainly no way any of us would know.
Usually when you fail a class you can take it again. If it is a class that is not required for your degree, you can usually still graduate if you have taken enough classes.

He still does not have a degree.
I certain case they allow them to keep M.Com terms or even CPA terms, if the person has very good marks, in all other subjects, he just need to take that paper again at next time and pass, then he will a graduate with a B.Com degree.
When and if he does that, he will be a graduate with a degree in Commerce.

hi. if ur friend is failed in one subject he is not considered as a degree holder. however delhi university has a option which is called eligible to reapper tat means he can giv tat economics exam again. This exam he can giv either in november-december or with the next final year batch in 2007.
