What's there to think about? It's a university, you go there to study.

I've grown up in Pittsburgh and still live here. I personally don't like the UOP. It's really large..and you have to be OK with that. I wanted something smaller and that had more of a community feel so I went ot Duquesne University for my BA and MA/MS.
I try to go to Pitt for me Ph.D. but just thought they were very unorganized, cold, and unprogressive.
I am sure for other programs this might be different. So basically, it all depends on what you want. If you are interested in Med School, it's probably a good option.

It depends on what you want to go there for, just like any other school. They have an excellent med program, and their theatre department isn't half bad. It's an urban campus, so you have to walk all over creation to get anywhere. I never minded that except for when I had to somehow make it across town in 10 minutes from one class to the next. They offer a wide variety of electives, so you can actually choose classes you have an interest in taking. I took "Germanic Myths, Legends, and Sagas"& "The Romance of Piracy". They were fun.
