I have been Majoring in Finance and Investment for my Bachelor's degree and Mathmatics for my minor. My career goal is to become a quantitative analysis. If anyone knows any information, recommendation, advice about a quantitative analysis, let me know.

Since the requirement to get into a cal state is 2.0, did any student have around that gpa or below a 3.0 and still get into a cal state?Is it possible to be put on academic probation or provisional acceptance if you do have a low gpa? Because I scored low on my SATs and my gpa is low, but Im not that far from where my SATs score needs to be with my gpa, so Im taking them over again. Is it possible they will still accept me?Any chance?

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

i took u.s. history 2 last semester, and i read someplace that the first real gun control laws (in the u.s.) were to curb blacks from owning guns, with one of the laws stating that the only make of gun a black person could own was one made by colt, which at the time would have been far too expensive for an ex-slave to own. i'm taking english 2 this semester, i'm doing a research paper on gun control, and need a citation for that statement, i already checked wikipedia.

were to only admit white people it would be called racist. Is this not some sort of double standard? I am not racist, I am all for everyone getting an education, I am just curious why the 'segregation' voluntarily...Black music awards, black colleges.... honestly, this is just curiousity, no offense meant. Was just reading baout Oprah backing an all black college, got me thinking. Thanks.
