I'm a junior in high school and i still have no idea what direction i'm wanting to head in after school. I'm pretty sure i don't want to waste precious years of my life going to school all over again. If i don't goto college or a university will I have a hard time making a living for myself? Will I likely struggle just to barely make it?

I don't want to waste time and money and sleep and my life going to college just because America is becoming to dependent on college kids. Yet i don't want to be a bum either. What do you think?

I have to do this comparitive essay for my college english 2 class between a short story and verses 4 - 8 of the 13th chapter of First Corinthians.
I was wondering if somebody can break this down into lay terms for me:

"Charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Charity doth not behave itself unseemly, seeking not her own..."

Making sense out of stuff like this isn't a personal strong point- I'm much more of a math person, than english, hahah.
Any useful input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

I just want to get any feedback from former students and/or current appraisers about this online/correspondence shcool. I plan to take the Appraiser course in CA. Would it be a good investment in the long run? And would you recommend this school or any other school?

I'm about to start applying to colleges, and I'd like to major in creative writing. Does anyone know of a decent school that offers creative writing (preferably somewhere in the northern part of the country) and would be a good bet for someone with my stats? I have a 3.8 GPA, but my SAT score is only 1930. Right now, I'm most likely going to apply to Pratt, Roger Williams, and Fordham. Thanks!

I have an 8 month old son . I am not employed at the moment . I have money in the bank from my father's estate . However I do not know the exact amount of money in there , est . $30,000. My aunt controls this money per the will. I have a house and a car too. My mom thinks I should go to college full time and then get a job. I am thrify I managed to live off of $10,000 last year . There are things I know I'm gonna have to buy like a new roof and stuff. I think I should get a job and go to college or take online classes . I am afraid though that my whole paycheck will go to day care as I won't be able to get a great paying job. My mom said she may watch him for free, but that is a big maybe in my mind . What should I do ? Go to school full time or get a full time job and do online classes? What should I do about someone to watch my son?

I have biology, chemisty, calclus, and geometry and discrete mathematics all in this sem.
The work load is too heavy for me to do well in all my courses and I need a high mark to get into a desirable university (ON canada).
I don't need sciences because I want to get into commerce but I think they are interesting to study.

What course do you think I should drop?
I want to go into commerce.

So for a class, I read all the articles, answered all the homework and questions, and made a study guide and studied forever for a test.
A kid that hadn't read any of the articles/books, didn't do one assignment, and read off my study guide got a 100% whereas I got below an 80%. Is it really wrong for me to feel depressed?

If you take bunch of classes one semester, how is a good way not to forget things that you took in those classes? Like say one of them is a history class. How is a good way that if somebody asks me a question about a topic discussed in that class like 10 years later, that I will be able to tell him about it. It makes me so mad because I can do really well in school, but what does it matter if in the following years, I'll just forget the stuff. Any suggestions?

I have to do a book review for history class on Francis Bacon and Shakespeare (like supposedly they were the same person or something like that). And I'm having trouble finding anything. When I did a library search for Sir Francis Bacon, I got this weird artist guy (his art is totaly crazy if you're interested). And I need a "scholarly" book on this (the connection between Bacon - not the artist- and Shakespeare) by monday. Help!
