I have biology, chemisty, calclus, and geometry and discrete mathematics all in this sem.
The work load is too heavy for me to do well in all my courses and I need a high mark to get into a desirable university (ON canada).
I don't need sciences because I want to get into commerce but I think they are interesting to study.

What course do you think I should drop?

Yes (to answer your first respondent), you certainly do need calculus. It comes up all the time in finance, investment, allocation of resources, and the like. Are you in high school? If so, most people would take calculus in college, so you could drop that in HS.

If you have had no geometry course before, you should keep that, but you probably don't need two of them.

I'm unlcear what discrete mathematics means; I think of combinatorics or perhaps an advanced algegra course. If it's algebra, keep it.

I think that you need bio and chem just to be an educated person, so keep them.

why are you taking all these maths at once? I would drop one ofthe maths, probably calc. If you need it or its required, you can take it when you are in college. And why are you taking both biology and chem at the same time. This sounds like a pretty messed up schedule. Aren't you taking English? In applying to the US colleges they require four years of English in HS. And what about a foreign language? Don't you need French to be a business person in Canada?

Find out what the prerequisites are for the University you will be applying for. Try to tailor your workload in that direction.
