There are three sources to seek out.

First, fill out the FAFSA.ed.gov form. It will enable you to qualify for need based scholarships at the college besides receiving federal help.

Second, go to your high school guidance office because they will have a list of local scholarships available.

Finally, I recommend using a free membership scholarship search. The source list contains the websites. Some of these are updated on a regular basis.

One recommendation is to check out the website of the sponsor before completing the essay portion of the application. The second is apply long before the deadline.

first and foremost never pay for this information. Go to the college you are planning to attend and the financial aid office should have a book of all kinds of grants and scholorships. You can even get this information from a local college you don't plan to attend. Also your high school should have lots of information on this.
