I'm thinking of applying to their architecture school which is supposed to be really good, but it seems the university itself isn't that prestigous.

Yeah, it doesn't sound to me as prestigious because I know a lot about Universities and never heard of that one. A program may be great and all, but if the employers can't know this, you'll be stuck by their judgement of the school.

About all I know of it is one of the Structural Engineers I worked with went there. He was a jerk and over-designed all his buildings, but he was fairly intelligent.
