I was thinking about studying french to go with my politics and history degree at uni. now, english has become the one and only truly global language and i can't see any benefit from studyng french as i don't see myself settling down in the country but perhaps it might impress future employers.

Why is it that everytime I get put into a group at school, I'm stuck with a bunch of freaks who don't talk, or they think they're the only ones that are right? I swear I'm the only one who makes any effort to get stuff done, while everyone else sits there like a lump. Why are these people in college?? Why can't all of us normal people get put together and the douche bags fend for their douchey selves??

I just moved into this house with three other girls (we are all college students). One of the girls' parents put their names on the lease, so we pay our rent to her. Just last night, after living here for a month, I was told by this girl that I must pay to her mother my share of the deposit, equal to one month's rent, even though this was never brought up in the last five months we've been in correspondence about the house. I'm upset about this, but I don't want to create tension because I'll be living here for at least one year, maybe two. What should I do?

I don't know how to let him know without it coming out wrong or straight up yellin in his face. We'll be sitting in the cafeteria and we're sittin across from each other. He texts me in the middle of our meal and the text says "U eat too much." And he loves to get in my conversations and he'll finish my sentences for me and correct me when I'm talkin to someone on the phone so he's clearly in my conversation. I don't know what his deal is.

Mr.darwin was a strong beleiver that black people came from a lower form of evolution and thus were not as superior to other cultures.Read mein kamp and you will see that hitler refers quotes from darwins theory.Evolutionist bring out every fact but this one, because they know it will shut them down for good. African americans,,,if you support civil rights you should speak out against this one in the universities and schools because it is in 90 percent of your science textbooks that evolution is a fact.

I'm 18 years old and a college freshman. I moved to a different state, 6 hours away from my hometown, and I thought I would be okay, but I'm not. I'm meeting new people and getting involved on campus, so I'm not just sitting around and feeling sorry for myself, but I'm still sad and lonely all the time. Most of the other incoming freshmen are from around the school's area, and they already know people and have friends...I don't know anybody. It's getting to the point where I'm willing to lose my loan money and my scholarships so I can go home and start over...but I want to have a good college experience! Please help me!!!
