Without math skills,people could rip you off,and get away with it.
They would not give you back the correct change for instance.

some consequences of not having math skill include: not knowing if the bank or a resteraunt screws up your bill, receipt, or whatever; not being able to properly do your taxes, not being able to have a lot of occupations, from a cashier to a doctor; and one of the BIGGEST consequences of not having math skills is seeming like a total idiot.

Math is a big field -- the consequences as such would really depend on what particular skill is lacking. Are we talking simple arithmatic? Algebra? Geometry? Trig? Calc?.....
NOTE: I'm using "skill" to mean something taught -- as opposed to "ability," one's natural talent(s).

Well, unless you get a job that COMPLETELY has nothing to do with math skill, let's say, a psychologist, then it isn't necessary to have any. But having math skill can get you higher and better jobs, such as engineering positions.

It depends on what field you go into. I work in a hospital and dose meds all the time using ratio and proportion with pt weights.
