I AM A SENIOR AT CENTRAL GWINNETT HIGH, I WANT TO MAKE THE SOCCER TEAM, BUT I AM SCARED SINCE I HAVE NEVR PLAYED IN A TEAM. I AM PHYSICALLLY FIT BUT I DONT HAVE COURAGE ENOUGH TO GO OUT THERE AND PLAY. CAN SOME ONE HELP. HAS ANYONE OF U GUYS HAD THE SAME FEELING WHEN U JOINED SPORTS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIGH SCHOOL. im good at creativity and artistic in design but which area in design? in stuck, pls help. i love photography 110% and love textiles and interiors. i love fabric and design my own clothes too but hate sewing and LOVE print work i.e. creating designs from scratch and printing on to various fabrics and materials. who am i? what role in design should i be playing.? interior designer? (i dont want to do fashion tho so dont mention it! i just like to do it for myself not a career!) textiles designer? photographer or as im currently doing graphic design sp graphic designer? im stuck sum 1 pls help!i need to knw fast! thanks have a good day.

I am about to be a college freshman and I have ten books-6 to carry three days of the week, and 4 to carry two days of the week. I tried using a bag that hangs on the side of the body, but it hurts too badly. I know a bookbag would work better. Since I have no experience yet, do most college students wear bookbags? Would I be a loser to have one? I know I shouldn't care what others think, but unfortunately...I do.

I got a job offer for 60K/yr as a logistics analyst in south NJ. I had been terminated 6 mos. back from my last consulting job for a tiny company after barely 2 mos, but after looking for work for a while I kinda gave up and got myself admitted into the Masters in Accounting program at UT Austin. Now after 1 month into my new program one of the companies I had interviewed 40 days back finally offerred me 60K for a job. I feel that if I was in a finance/ accounting to begin with I wouldnt have to wait for so long to get another job. SO what do you all think...should I continue in the accounting masters or take up the job? I have substantial scholarships for the MAcc program . On the other hand the salary is 60K. WHich would be better in the long run?

I just got my GED (finally) and I want to go to school to be a teacher, what do you have to do? I am desperate here. Everyone else is saying that it is only known for engineering, not medical (choice so far). Would it be a wise idea to go to there? I have researched this school, and I like that there is flexibility between the 7 undergraduate colleges+their asian studies.

Since my school is within the top ten in the nation, my rank is only 15-19 (not sure). I have an unweighted gpa of 3.98 and weighted of 4.9. I suck at standardized tests and my SAT is only 2010. I'm retaking the ACT after actually studying due to my again awful score of 28. I am taking the SAT IIs in October. I only have trivial achievements: 3rd degree black belt, USTA referree, 1000 hrs of volunteer service (TKD, piano the elderly, the E.R.), 6th place liberty bell classic (debate), TKD club president which teaches self defense at community centers and raises money (Kick for a cure/cause), 20+ piano accolades, etc.

My parents say I'm too stupid to go to college (girl hating) and I want to prove them wrong.
