Just take some deep breaths and go for it! The important thing is to have fun when you play sports. 20 years from now it won't matter if you played soccer or football or baseball, or joined the knowledge bowl or were class president.
Good Luck!

All you can do is give it your best, and let the chips fall where they may.
It's hard to think that you could be rejected and not make the team, and it is a scary feeling. Coaches pick people who are not only physically fit, but they pick people who have the confidence in themselves and in their abilities.
If you have a friend who is either on the soccer team, or is trying out for the soccer team, get together and kick the ball around. By having that support, you can give each other positive feedback and encouragement, therefore building confidence in your abilities.
Good luck!!

I would be good to try. If you put in the effort, you may be good at it. If you are physically fit to play soccer a good coach can teach you how to play and you can compete. It is better to a part of the team and know the thrill of compention than to have never have tried. You need to do it for yourself and the team and not something for a college application though.

As long as you have the desire to play, you can do it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. If they do, backhand them, lol...jk, but I was feeling like that this summer because i am playing my first year of basketball and running track for the first time this year (im a junior) but people tell me as long as i have the desire i can do it. Just go for it, dont think negatively about it, you can do it.
