Gotta get clean, get rid of track marks, make excuses for your police record. I'm kidding, I hope...

Then get a bachelors degree4 years in elementary education, you may also need a masters degree,2 years, in some states , you do in CT. This is not like a hobby type of job.

Try EBay if your just feeling bored.

Kindergarten is the toughest, each elementary will only have one or two vs 20 to 30 other teachers, basically you have to wait for one to die... suspiciously he.he.he..he...or retire.

Not trying to discourage you, you're still young, go for it. maybe while you study, work part time at a child pre-school place, or like a Kinder care baby sitting company type place/ looks good on resume+ you will learn if it is what you want to do

go to a college and talk to the counselor there, she can help you decide for sure if that's what you want to do, what classes you would have to take, and about how long it will take you to get through your degree. Best of luck to you.
