This is for my civil engineering assignment. I am assigned to make a concrete slab with comressive strength 10N/mm square. If possible, the mix design procedure should come with calculations such as aggregates' weight and proportions, water-cement ratio, apparent specific gravity etc. Thank you.

In not too long, I'll have two undergrad degrees, one in graphic design and one in math. So far, I've been thinking of following the math and going into some engineering field. But is there a job that would pay enough to keep me off the streets that would combine the graphic design and math? I dearly love both of my directions of study and would be equally complimented if someone called me a math geek or computer nerd (call me both and we should find a time to go out for coffee.) Yet in all my searching, I haven't really come across anything that would fit. And in terms of the graphic design, I am not looking for a mindless job of creating the sort of graphics an amateur with a guide to Photoshop or Illustrator could do in a half hour. Just because I like math doesn't mean I don't like being creative. I use both sides of my brain, and I'd love it if I could find a job that would let me do just that. I'd really appreciate it if you'd share any thoughts you had on the matter.

I attend bowie state university, and my classes start august 28th. However, this past May my mother decided to move to Troy, NY to live with a friend she met online. I did not really know what to do, so I sort of had to go with her. But now I have to be back in Maryland by the 28th to start my classes at Bowie State, but I do not have anywhere to stay at Bowie State. And my mother is not going to take me there unless I have somewhere to stay. I did call the housing department, and they said they will be unable to tell me if there is space available in any of the dorms until late August or early September. But regardless of whether or not there is any space available or if they are able to tell me by the 28th I still have to be there on the 28th because my classes still start the 28th whether or not I have somewhere to stay. So what can I do? I need somewhere to stay, and my classes start the 28th.

would be some good a good career for someone that isnt much of a people person? And please dont suggest nursing, I have no desire to do that. I would like maybe something I could do on the computer from home or something that I could not have a whole lot of people intervention throughout the day. I work well on my own and am self motivated,,,please give me some ideas! oh yea, are online training jobs worth it?

I have a BS and after having kids joined the workforce. I started working as an administrative assistant, and I'm good at my job, but I want to advance in my company. Is obtaining a masters on line from an accredited university a good way to achieve this, or should I go to nightschool at a brick and mortar institution?

I am a history guru and want to be a person who digs in the dirt and teaches it for the rest of my life however, my parents want me to get a teaching degree. I want them to be happy and i want to be happy. I heard that tenure is hard to get but to be honest it want it really bad. Should i get a major in english education because the univrsity doesnt offer history educatuon or should i get my degree in european history like i disire and go for broke. If i do opion 2 what career options do i have?

I'm trying to decide where I should get a web design/programming degree from. Is it better to go to a big name school and pay extra money, or can I go to a good small school that's much cheaper? Do employers care where I get the degree from or do they just look at my portfolio?
