I start school August 28th my 3 main classes are english 101, math 090, human ethics, and this seminar class there makin me take since im involved in this special program. I have math and then english on MWF and human ethics and seminar on TR, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips or advice on what can I expect from these classes, and how can I create a study schedule for each of these because I dont want to settle for nothing less than a 4.0 GPA. Thanks in advance.

I'm studying for a final exam
I'm wondering if I should read the textbook for the exam since I understand the lecture notes very clearly and I've read 2 chapters in the textbook and the lecture notes summarized them pretty well
so..should I keep reading the textbook?
ps: i have limited time on studying

Hello, ok here is the problem.

I attended a community college for 3 semesters when I was 18, I did very poorly, 1.8 gpa. My dad then gave me this idea that I should start fresh at a new school. So I applied for southern illinois university and got in! well I did bad there too and failed out the first semester that I was there, I tried to see if I could start again at southern but somehow they found out that I attended the community college and wanted transcripts. So now I can't go back to southern.

Well now I called the community college and they said they have a "forgiveness" policy, which would let me fix everything I ever screwed up. The only problem is, will they find out about southern illinois university? If they see I failed out will they still honor this forgivness? Will I be able to apply for financial aid, or will they be able to see that I went to southern through that? What do I do! I am ready to be serious as I am 24 now! I just didn't get it before!

I would like to start fresh due to bad grades at a previous school, but is there a computer system in place that tracks where you went to school previously? I certainly hope not, as I am much more mature and ready for school now that I'm 25.
