What can one do if he/she wants to join the university for a fulltime undergraduate course and UCAS does not confirm aplace for him or her? Is it the end? Any alternatives to approach that kind of a situation?

I do not know the policies of the specific school you are trying to gain admission to, but if it is too late to be admitted for fall, you should not just sit the semester out. Consider attending a local community college where you can transfer in credits.

You are not quite clear about your circumstances. Under normal circumstances, you won't have a confirmed place, but a place dependant on the grades you get. If you do not get these grades,or have no conditional offers, you will need to go through "clearing" this is when everybody desparately calls the uni's begging for a place. Wait until clearing opens then call your favoured uni. Be calm, polite and clearly explain your circumstances. As long as you are not too choosy about where you wanna go you should find a good uni place.

UCAS have officially closed to admissions for this academic year. The only option now is clearing

I think you can still apply for courses through clearing- check it on ucas.co.uk. And phone up the universities and colleges you may want to go to.

It depends if the college is impacted. My daughter's college accepted 8900 students out of 52,000 applications- they obviously are full. Another State school near us has low enrollment so you can apply at any time.
