I was looking to go to Oklahoma State University and was wondering if there are any classes in the astronomy field? If someone could tell me I would greatly appreciate it.

This last term at school, I took an intro to soc class. I felt I did alright throughout it. The teacher didn't post grades online which sucked because I wanted to track my grade.

The final was a bit hard, but I thought I did ok. Enough to get a low B in the class. Imagine my surprise then, when I got a D-in the class. I emailed the teacher wondering how I did on that final. I got a B on that. I got a B on the midterm. I also got B's and A's on all the essays.

The reason for my D- then? He said I was missing an essay. An essay he graded a B- on. An essay he made comments on. An essay he didn't remember and I didn't have because I deleted my files (end of term people..would you keep yours?).

He wouldn't change my grade until I could prove I did it. After a week, I found it on my computer (I'm still not exactly sure how..)I emailed it to him and he said it was too late. Now, I have a D- on my transcript because he didn't record a grade I earned. How would you react?

I am 21 years old and $10,000 in debit. I pay for college myself and last year i didnt get enough money from a financial aid & i only got approved for $3,000 from a private loan. so i had to charge $8,000 to pay for school on my credit card. Im in a horrible situation & now i have bad credit. I need to get a loan for school this year but i dont know how and have already maxed out gov. loans. I am currently working and trying to find another job. Nothing seems to help and i dont know what to do. I'm just getting more depressed and my parents cant help me. my dad lost his job and is struggling to provide for the rest of the family. Help me Please! If you have any suggestions about where i can get a loan please tell me!!!

does this mean my home university won't get that grade and in a sense i got away with a bad grade; the catch is just i can't continue taking classes there(at least for transfer credits) since all classes will be on one transcript; is this true?

O.K. I am 26 years old and entering my second year at a decent community college. I work full time.I am currently an English major(GPA 4.0). I very much enjoy literature, writing, and history. I am good at basic math and very elementry algebra but I do not excell in the subject in general. Some careers I'm drawn to are teaching (any grade, maybe even college), librarian, and nursing. A friend of mine mentioned that the A.A. degree I'm currently shooting for would be great for the bottom of my bird cage. Ha ha. I don't expect any specific career advice, but I entered college late and with little idea of what I was doing. So, can someone explain the difference between different degrees and how to best put them to use? I'd appreciate any kind, serious information. Thanks.

I will own my dads multi-million dollar Mercedes dealership when I turn 21, I will get his Ferarri dealership further down the road. I am going to college to have a good time and meet girls since I dont have to worry about money, plus dad is making me. What is easy to major in so I will make good grades and be able to party and stuff. P.S. I am going to Stanford, but will hopefully transfer to UCLA
