I will own my dads multi-million dollar Mercedes dealership when I turn 21, I will get his Ferarri dealership further down the road. I am going to college to have a good time and meet girls since I dont have to worry about money, plus dad is making me. What is easy to major in so I will make good grades and be able to party and stuff. P.S. I am going to Stanford, but will hopefully transfer to UCLA

To Sean, I will certainly inherit the dealership, 1. I will not be a college dropout, 2. Mercedes would never ever do such a disrespectful act to my family, trust us, we are on top. Sorry about your jealousies

I would suggest Business, so that you don't go in there looking like a fool. Communications would be good to, so that you know something about good advertising on TV. If you just want to blow though just take the basics to get the degree. Don't fail, your Dad might change his mind. He might be sending you to see if you can handle school, with a passing grade.
By the way I have two nephews who's Dad owns several Dealerships and lot of other things too. They are both over 25 yrs. old and they still have not taken over any of the dealerships.

You can't just expect to be set for life by getting your dad's car dealership. You need to know how to run it, manage it, and keep it profitable. College is also not automatically easy, it's easy if you let it be easy. And you're not guarenteed to have a good team and meet any girl you want. Become a business/retail management major so you will have a good idea of what you need to do when you inherit the business.

You should get used to having some skills to manage people.
Make your old man proud, start out on the sales floor. The people skills you will learn will help you through the rest of life.
A degree will only take you so far, and it will not always prep you for the world. Keep in mind it is not what you know in the business world, it is who you know!
Don't worry even if it all fell apart there will always be girls. And you can always make more money...
Just out of curiosity, do you have the money in your wallet with the hundreds on the inside of the stack, or the outside?

You will need a good education wither you have money or not. You will need to learn how to manage your money and give to charity's and other ways to help on your yearly taxes. And to make sure the business is ran right and YOU are not being ripped off. Life's not an easy road. Lord give it. It can be taken away.

You would be wise to Major in business. That way you will have at least half a clue about what is going on and the dealership

you should grow up and use your brain. Just because your dad made money doesn't mean that you will too!!! You could easily run the business into the ground. Take economics, marketing or business. If you take the easy way out, you will fail at everything in life.

Sorry, but you cannot inherit a automotive delarship. Upon your fathers retirement Mercedes will go over thier options and if you are a lazy college drop out you will not be select you and the mercedes line will be pulled from your delarship.

Could you be any more shallow? Dear lord...have you ever pushed yourself? Do you even know what you can do? Do you even want to own a car dealership? If I had your advantages I wouldn't sell out like that...I'd hear opportunity knocking and get the door...take this time to explore what you might actually want to do...if money is no object you have more choices than most...but you can be a punk if you want...enjoy...

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Don't you have your own aspirations? Are you not an individual? You are not your Dad! Beside's you never know what might happen tomorrow. So, be prepared to take care of yourself, even if you don't have to. Think about what it is that YOU like to do....go for it and do exceptionally well. Work smart...Work hard. When you getter older and look back, you'll be glad you did!
