The princeton review has an excellent one with a money-back guarantee if your score doesn't raise. The class itself is very expensive.

Alot of times they offer SAT prep classes in high school which are free and you get elective credit so I would recommend that.

If you have tested yourself and scored less than 600 in any of the subjects, then I'd do any of the group classes, the longer their session, the better. But if alone, you score better than 600 on each subject, then you'll waste your time in those classes with kids not as good as you, and you should get private tutoring. It costs a lot more but it's well worth it. Ask one of your favorite teachers if they know a tutor, they may do it themselves.

They prepare you for the SAT. You will take math, science, and english quizzes quite frequently. They go over your wrong answers with you to help you understand what the write answer is. Its a great way to boost your knowledge!

visit www.collegeboard.com for info on test prep classes.

Focus on developing your strengths (say... grammar) and also on developing new skills (such as math).

I did poorly in math class in high school and wish I had gotten a tutor for the ACT.
