I need some hints on how the campus and dorms are..AND I need to know how Arizona is, because I'm going there for a visit in August...HOPEFULLY...

OK. Now this fall I am going to UM. They gave me oxford hall to live in. And I am basically enrolled in LSA. So, I just want to know that are my classes gonna be too far from where I am gonna live? Bcoz from my research I learned that oxford is kinda outside the campus and only transfer students like me live there!

I really want to go to Rice University, and I'm trying to apply Early Decision. My mom insists on me looking at an in state school more (University of Missouri-Columbia). The thing is, 2/3 of my graduating class go there, and I don't think I'm going to major in journalism like she thought I would. I'm considering medicine, and Rice would be awesome to go to, but I can't apply there until she signs off for Early Decison.

Do I forge her signature? Fax the application to my dad to sign it (they're divorced)? How do I convince her? She's so worried about costs and fails to see the big picture. Help please!

Several years ago, I attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Our team, the ASU Indians, sucked, so the school lured a coach from Notre Dame with the promise of a salary of over $100,000 a year, plus benefits. The most that the professors earned there was maybe about $60,000. A university is supposed to be a place of learning, not leisure. What gives?
