OK. Now this fall I am going to UM. They gave me oxford hall to live in. And I am basically enrolled in LSA. So, I just want to know that are my classes gonna be too far from where I am gonna live? Bcoz from my research I learned that oxford is kinda outside the campus and only transfer students like me live there!

Hey there, and welcome (soon) to Ann Arbor! Oxford Hall is a bit off Central Campus, but not too far, and the Oxford Shuttle will run you right to where the action is in 5 minutes. See the map below. If you get off at CC Little or Hill Auditorium, you'll be close to everything (the Diag is the center of central campus). And keep in mind that the map makes places look further apart than they actually. Ann Arbor is very walkable.

It does seem odd that they'd put transfer students out there instead of someplace more central--ah, well, that's a big university for ya!

I love Ann Arbor, my home town really. For the life of me I can't remember the mapping of the buildings, but I know there is an excellent bus system (AATA). Getting around campus is so easy

Choose whichever dorm you can hang yourself in the easiest after Misheegan loses to Ohio State again.

As long as you can get downtown and to the football stadium, it will be cool
