This sort of goes along with my other question, but if I enroll in a work study program, will that affect the amount of Pelgrant money I recieve? Because I know getting a regular job will, I just don't know about work study.

What are the tuition costs at Columbia University for one year? Just tuition, not room and board or anything else. I'm looking to get into their General Studies program.

I am filing my bankruptcy soon, and i know it'll take quite awhile for it to be discharged, in the meantine and possibly before that I want to start school and apply for financial aid and a student loan, will I still be able to even though I have a bankruptcy in progress? and if not, what if I apply for everything now, before I file, but then would filing while recieving aid effect anything? would I not be able to get aid after that? or would it affect any loans or grants I would be recieving at the time?

My daughter (3yrs) goes to Head Start which is Federally funded. The school bus has broken down so many times this year and she (along with many other kids) have had to miss school because of it. This week alone she missed 3 days and the next 2 are holiday. That makes a week of school just this week alone. The school said even if they were given a new bus they couldn't accept it because of their funding. Who should I write to? Would a petition work in this case? Does anyone have any info that would help me get something in motion to help our kids? Thanks for any help.

My child goes to a charter school and they have booked a fieldtrip to California. (We live in Colorado) Unfortunately, we are a low income family and their is no way for us to pay for the trip. I was wondering if there is a fundraiser for a family to do that we can earn the money to send my son on this very educational trip? Any help will benefit. Thanks
