My child goes to a charter school and they have booked a fieldtrip to California. (We live in Colorado) Unfortunately, we are a low income family and their is no way for us to pay for the trip. I was wondering if there is a fundraiser for a family to do that we can earn the money to send my son on this very educational trip? Any help will benefit. Thanks

Have you approached the charter school about having a fundraiser for the kids who could not afford the field trip like your child? There is probably at least one other child facing the same problem. Also, have you approached the school about the problem because they might have some ideas for fundraising. Here are some fundraising ideas:

* Bake sale.
* Approach local businesses for donations if the school helps some with a letter.
* Car wash in the spring.
* Candle sale.
* Avon.

Good luck!

I might suggest going to “google.com” and start entering words with “fieldtripassistance” included! With alternate words to narrow down your search! Such as "helpfundchildfieldtrip" or "fieldtripfundsneededforourchild", you may find some corporation or programe that may help, like check w/YMCA or locale churchs that might be willing to help a once in a life time dream come true!!!

Good Luck!
