My daughter (3yrs) goes to Head Start which is Federally funded. The school bus has broken down so many times this year and she (along with many other kids) have had to miss school because of it. This week alone she missed 3 days and the next 2 are holiday. That makes a week of school just this week alone. The school said even if they were given a new bus they couldn't accept it because of their funding. Who should I write to? Would a petition work in this case? Does anyone have any info that would help me get something in motion to help our kids? Thanks for any help.

Have you tried contacting your state legislator, state senator, Congressperson, or Senators? They have people in their office devoted to help their constituents. I recommend calling their offices Monday morning since it is the day before Thanksgiving. Good luck!
