Five years from now i will not know you
Who you were i will remember
who you become i cannot predict
Who you become is up to you
Follow your dreams, make things happy, create a path and lead the way...

I need some ideas for some transition statements for a counter-argument for my research paper that aren't too redundant. I'm looking for something along the lines of "Some would disagree" or "Not everyone agrees with this view" or something like that. I'm writing a research paper and I have to write counter arguments with sources that argue against my argument so I can defend my position on the subject and I have to transition into them with statements like that but I just can't think of anything else. Any suggestions??

i'm reposting this, because i forgot to include some important information

My current GPA is 3.4, with 14 credits

this past term (fall, the one thats currently ending) i had some medical issues, and was out of school for a little over a week. so i feel preety far behind.

i'v talked to my teachers and what not, about extra credit, and they've been helpfull, but i still think i won't do as well.

one of my classes i'll probably get a C, and the other, a D. i just fell way too far behind, and couldn't catch up, even with the extra credit, and its too late to withdraw/drop the class

with 14 credits, how far would you guys think my GPA would drop?

so to sum up....

-i'm a freshman
-i'm finishing up my 2nd term
-my school runs on the quarter system (summer, fall, winter, spring)
-i have 14 credits under my belt
-i'm finishing up these 2 classes
-one is worth 4 credits, the other is worth 3
-one is giving me a C, the other a D

with that info, how far do you think my GPA will drop?

Just wanting to here others opinions on this subject.

A man lives in a small town with limited employment opportunity and has worked nearly 15 years at a warehouse which didnt require a high school diploma or Ged. This man has proven to be a loyal, reliable asset to the company. He shows up for work on time. Does his job with no problem.
Moving on..... the warehouse informs the workers that they will be closing down
So this man thats once was an asset to the company has joined the list of unemployed workers in amercia along with several other associates.
Moving on....This man and several other associates from the same warehouse go to apply for positions in which they are completly qualified for, once they get the application and begin filling it out they come to the part about education. Well Im sure you can imagine the rest .....High school diploma or GED required....several associates that are not qualified because they hold no Diploma.
