I believe Ranto did not give me good advice. I asked about whether or not I should transfer from Michigan to Michigan State to complete my degree in Biochemistry and Taranto told me things like I should consider changing my major and that I would struggle where I go. Yet when I was able to pull up the exams for the first year courses for michigan and michigan state for physics, chem, and math I found out michigan state exams were much easier. Also my academic advisor told me that even if I finished at michigan state instead of michigan I still would have attended the 2nd best institution in michigan which would be impressive. She also said that it would look more appealing to have a 3.7 at michigan state than to get a only a 3.2 or less at university of michigan?

Her child has been really acting up, she's in 3rd grade. she just switched schools, they lost their home... many things. Her mom is really great, i've known her very well for a few years. our children play together. the child has understandably been acting out. apparently she did something REALLY bad and her mom, who has never spanked, got a belt and hit her 3 times on the butt. the daughter made a smart remark about it not hurting, so the mom got a wooden spoon and hit her again. the next day at school the teacher heard the daughter say something, checked and there was a bruise.

what course of action should the mom take. she is devasted. they didn't take the child. what happens next? i think the mom said she does have to go to court. what can she do to rectify this situation.

i just got my ap bio grade and its a 77. I'm sort of upset but its a hard course so i shouldn't really be surprised. All of my other grades are in the 90's this quarter. I'm a senior ranked 33/300 kids in my class and my gpa is around a 3.8 now. I sent out applications already to suny binghamton depaul uvm and suny oswego. I'm going to be sending out regular ones to northeastern and american universities. Other classes i'm taking are french 5 college english ap government and wind ensemble. is it worth it to stick it out in the class with these grades or should i drop it out. Will colleges like a 77 and think i'm an idiot or that i'm not taking strong enough classes. What is better?

I have nothing against retarded children, but if you choose to have them, you should take responsibility for them. I really don't believe in having these types of children. I think it is a burden to the parent and the child itself. You will have to take care of the kid for the rest of it's life. Why bring it to suffer? My cousin has down syndrome and he had so many damn surguries, its like why make a kid go through that, its hard enough being normal." And if you don't have the time to teach the kid anything, spare yourself. My Aunt is disgustingly lazy and teaches the kid nothing so he is really bad when she is around and acts up and hits her with things. I don't get it.
