People are always telling me I'm a 'deep' person what do they mean?

Generally that means that what you say has a more significance than whats on the surface. If you are considered a deep person than what you say and feel has layers of meaning. Meaning that is "deeper" than whats on the surface. That is unless they are being sarcastic and than it means that you are an air head. Lets hope its not sarcasm though.

To be called deep, means that others think that your answers to questions or manner of being is thoughtful, insightful and not rash. In a manner of speaking - that you respond to events in a rational almost philosophical manner. You aren't prone to idle ranting/raving, that when you complain your complaints are well thought out and logical.

They go into the nitty gritty of everything they anylyse
everyday situations and find meanings and reasons for everything,and if you are unlucky enough to hear them garble on and on you will know what i mean,lifes too short for deep

i'm deep may mean i'm already through it as in have had enough n stuff like that.
