If I want to exchange something for something else, for instance: "Two cans of formula in exchange for a fish aquarium with an air pump." Would I word it the other way around, or is this correct? (Like meaning, would I reverse that phrase)? I want to give someone thae formula and them give me the aquarium.

I've found a local trade school that is short (6 months 8AM-12) for under $11,000. The guy who founded it is a local legend. He's taught at two other schools in the area and been in the trade for well over 30 years. Most of the local techs were either trained by him or know of his reputation.

He wanted to open a school that was cheaper/shorter than the two others in the area, without the padding they put into to qualify for government grants.

I don't think his school qualifies for government grants, which I would qualify for, but on the other hand the other schools are a year to two long. His school still gets you EPA refrigerant certified along with the unofficial industry standard certification (no real required certification exists). I trust his reputation after verifying it with other techs.

What I'd like to do is defer payment until after graduating. Any links to try? I believe they offer FannieMae. Also would like to take out $4000 more as a buffer to pay bills. Ideas?

My wife went to college for 3.5 years, and ended up failing out pretty much due to apathy her last two semesters.

Now that she's seen how tough it is to get a decent job anywhere without a degree she's realized the errors of her ways and wants to get a degree of some kind (even assoc. if available) but we don't know what our options are.

We've since moved away from her college so going back to it to finish the degree is pretty much out of the question. What other options do we have if she wants a degree of some kind?

Havn't they heard of 4-H, swim classes, other classes, sports, church, also home schoolers in an area will get together for field trips or to do arts or other activities or do certain subjects at certain people's homes. I'm not happy with people telling me NOT to homeschool because everything I've read on it sounds great and homeschoolers have an opportunity to get a better education. Our children would not be hidden from the world like they make it sound! I went to public school myself and loved it in elementary school but then middle school and highschool was pretty scarey with all of the gossip, drugs and lack of one on one teaching and bomb threats. If our children ask to go to public school when they are older we will not keep them from doing what they want if it's the best thing for them since we only want the BEST possible for them!
