I need to know HOW to solve this problem... I know that distilled water has a pH of 7... but without using that number in the formula, how and what do i imput into the formula in order to get this pH of 7? AHHHHH!!! HELP PLEASE !!!

pH = - log H+ concentration

Using this pH, show how to find the hydrogen ion content of the substance using the formula. Round to 10 decimal places or write your answer using scientific notation. Include units on your answer.

You figure the concentration of H+ (positive hydrogen ions) in the solution. Take the logarithm of that. Negate the answer (that's your +/- key). That's your pH.

Hydrogen ion [H+] in distilled water is 10^-7. So the pH of distilled water is 7.
