Education & Reference - 14 October 2007

I just finished college in june. I did a healthcare trade, however the city where I'm from isn't hiring for my profession. My fiance and I were thinking about buying a home. I still live at home, but I'm 25 years old and I've been in school since high school(I also have a degree) i can get a job anywhere outside my city, in fact I have companies calling me and writing letters to me. My fiance owns a business here so he cannot move. I don't know what to do! I've tried everywhere here(I'm in a smaller city, and only rural around the city)

I'm at the point in my life where I'm getting ready to attend college and like many others; I have no idea what I plan on studying. I have always been passionate about so many things so I cannot seem to pick just one. So I'm compiling a list of subjects I enjoy:

-Geography -Music -Singing -Writing [songs, poems, novels] -Activism -Environment -Nutrition -Wellness -Yoga -Religion[eastern] -Cultures -Travel -Politics -Green Living
-Lanuage[french/german/spanish]

Now that you have an idea of what interests me maybe you could help find a few career matches or major/minor ideas. Thank you so much.

I've found a master's program that greatly interests me, I e-mailed the director to ask how to apply and he sent me a link, said it was very competative and wished me the best. would it be wrong to ask him for advice in the application process? if no then how should I go about it?

I am in the military and the only option for me at this time is online courses. I have narrowed it down to two differant univiersitys. I have been accepted to both however, I still cannot decide between Oklahoma U; BA in Liberal Studies with an empahis in Adminstrative leadership or Penn State World Campus BS in Organzational leadership. What do you guys think???

I will try to describe this one.. my nana gave me a pair of lamps and i often have guests over that admire these lamps and they ask questions about them only i have no answers so heres wh@ they look like... A man statue standing sideways holding a sword in what appears to be some sort of costume he has a mustache and beard and a hat. If this helps at all my grandmother had a theme for each room in her home of vintage furniture, as well as victorian, mostly 20th century and 19th century i just want to know the name of the statue so i can research some knowledge about it.

im having trouble grasping the concept of verifying identities...

1) (sinx) / (1+cosx ) + (sinx) / (1-cosx) = 2cscx

2) [(sinx + cosx) / sinx] + [(sinx - cosx) / cosx] = (cscx)(secx)

step by step explanations would be extremely helpful.

I just started my freshman year at the local community college and i feel like i'm way in over my head, i don;t understand everything and I feel stupid and like i dont belong. I know there is plenty extension schools that have masters programs online (Harvard, NE, MIT, etc...) but nothing further up. I was wondering how you get a b.a. and when can you get it. I researched about it a bit, and it was said that b.a.s are for undergraduates, so do you get your b.a. the first 2 years of college? But don't you have to take the GEDs? So is it b/c you take the GEDs along with the b.a. requirements? Plus is there a time limit to get a b.a. I am a high school student, and i am in advanced classes. Throughout school i have found that i learn alot better and know much more by sitting in class and "watching intentivly" as compared to taking notes. i just sit in my desk and listen without a peice of paper on my desk, while everyone else is busy taking notes on everything the teacher says. Yet, i do much better then them and can recall content much faster(though sometimes not as accurate). Most of the time, they come to me for advice on the class! I am not asking if this is weird, even though i don't know anyone who does this, but i want to know if it is "normal" or posibly unique. And how is it possible that the guy with no notes does as well, and sometimes better then the guy with a notebook of pure notes? Also, i should mention that i usually don't study or review.
