I'm interested in going to college there, but I don't want to sound like a complete dummy when telling people that!

I like the "Tin Star" answer -- and it is close. Since it is near Philadelphia, the locals will pronounce "Mawr" half way between "mar" and "more." Listen to how Maury Povitch pronounces the first syllable of his first name & you will have a good idea.

Of course, it is actually half way between Haverford and Villanova. It is a good school -- but it is a beautiful location.

Good luck.
