I just finished college in june. I did a healthcare trade, however the city where I'm from isn't hiring for my profession. My fiance and I were thinking about buying a home. I still live at home, but I'm 25 years old and I've been in school since high school(I also have a degree) i can get a job anywhere outside my city, in fact I have companies calling me and writing letters to me. My fiance owns a business here so he cannot move. I don't know what to do! I've tried everywhere here(I'm in a smaller city, and only rural around the city)

The closest I can get to home is a 5 hour drive away and not know a sole in a community of 13,000 or I can be a 1.5 hour plane ride away with my cousin in a city of 140,000.

It goes by senority in hospitals. I can take a crappy casaul job here but I'd have to wait for 40 people to retire before i'd even get a job doing what I went to school for. Basically 5 years waiting. Some people only get 6 hours a week.

That is a tough position to be in. You may need to move temporarily to get some experience, so that you can more easily find a job locally later on. Talk about it with your fiance, and set a specific time limit that you will spend wherever you move, so that he will understand that you are not abandoning him.

This what I would consider first look a little bit hard were you live go on the internet, look in newspapers and ask around just a little bit more. Than, if still nothing than take on a job out of town or city it many be hard but you'll find something sooner are later.

Tough call. Can you move somewhere relatively close and keep the relationship going? How long would the communte be? Would it only have to be temporary until you get the experience?
