I'm a teacher at a language school. Yesterday there was a very important football match between the two most popular teams of my country and the time of the match coincided with our class. There were only 4 students present out of 17, and I dismissed the class because according to the rules of the institute more than one-third of the students must be present for that class to be held. half an hour later a student's mom called the institute saying why I dismissed the class, I had no right to do so, she said those who were ansent were at fault and I shoul've continued the class,I'm being paid for it and she talked my butt off. What do you think? Did I do the right thing to dismiss the class or not? It's a starter-level class and I had no other choice.

Hi, i'm 14 years old, and last night I didn't get any sleep because of so much homework, I am really tired, and I have lots of homework today agai, i'm sure, so can you please make me a nice schedule so I can get some sleep and get my homework done?

Keep in mind i'm not a very fast worker.

Here will be my homework (didn't go to school yet, but I know some of the work):

*Make index cards for Italian, about 40
*Italian teacher coming to catch me up with work (surgery), will take about 1 1/2 hour
*Study passages and characters and themes and ideas of book I read for a test tomorrow
*The rest of the homework I will be getting tomorrow, you can judge how long it will take, I am in 9th grade, all honors classes
*Math Test, a little bit difficulty with certain problems, may take longer than usual to understand, may have to look up
*Have a half hour show
Most likely going to have a biology test in 2-5 days, which i'm a little lost on because the class is boring

I have a big doubt here. I have a great interest on forensic science,but i do not know whether is it my strength to study this course or not.

From 5+ universities in Australia, i only found out a few which have this particular course.So far,my 1st choice is Murdoch.It provides a double majors course for forensic science. Is it good?

I was wondering if health science is a good major to get into if I want to become a pharmacist..reason why i'm asking cause I was looking at the UC Santa Cruz website and it said under the health science major that one of the careers was pharmacy..obviously chemistry is important...so I was planning to minor in that...so is health science a good major? or should I pick the typical Bio and Chemistry major?
