im writing an essay on what animals would go on my totem pole and how they represent each level. the 2nd animal must represent our "tribe". i decided to use a hornet b/c i am from Herndon, VA and the hornet is the mascot of herndon high school. i need some characteristics of a hornet..
ex:
a whale represents wisdom, providor, intelligence, and kindness.

a hornet represents speed, skill, excellence and wit.

A hornet is an insect but it's protective and doggone persistent.

I think a hornet would represent community (because of it's hives), relentlessness (because of their aggressiveness), and valor (for fighting to the death).

the view is the whale has a special gift that only sea creatures understand, their mind is surrounded by a world that is seaworld.
