Education & Reference - 11 October 2007

Hi i would like to know your opinions.. ....i'm in college right now, but will tansfering to one of those universities in a couple years. Many people say Cal Poly Pomona is the right one for this major. I dont know when but also i will move myself to the Bay Area and i think just Bekerley offers this major in there.
All tips will be welcome!!!

I know getting into a PhD program in clinical psychology is nearly impossible but what about a masters program?

Go ahead, it doesn't really matter if you don't know the order... at least you know their names! :p
Oh, and try to use their first and last names - and TRY not to use Google or Wikipedia :)

A person won't get annoyed as people in front of him push at a checkout, will he?

Shrieks are broadcast over the intercom every hour. On the hour one shriek occurs for each hour, at 3:00 AM, 3 shrieks are heard. This ritual began at 1:00 AM on Halloween morning. If the school clocks are on a 24 hr. system, how many shrieks will be broadcast on Oct. 31?

Can somebody help me with this one?


For example in America, if there is a company and has a meeting to discuss with, there are people who has a good position like a director, and there are people who doesn't have a good position. Whoever the someone is or tells his/her opinion, the boss or worker treat them equal. They don't undervalue the someone who doesn't have a good position, or don't overvalue the someone who has a good position. It's very interesting in Korea. For example as same situation in Korea, if a person has a good position, then people overvalue that person. Even his opinion is right or wrong, people think it's great. But, if someone who doesn't have a good position, people undervalue him/her. Korean society cannot be equal unless they are not distinguish people.

I'm doing a science fair project on bridges and the class criteria states that I need at least two magazine sources. I really want to get some notes on how bridges are made. I've looked everywhere for free online magazine sources, but none of them seem to have anything on bridges in general. OK, me and 2 other kids in my class are doing a project in history where we are supposedly being sent by a European nation into North America to set up a colony, and I'm in charge of writing a "letter" back to the king and queen of our country telling them of our voyage and how we started our colony. I was wonder, how do online schools monitor or keep up with practicums? One would think that they would not be able to considering that the professors do not have face to face meetings with the people that they are working under and that people are generally so spread out from one another.
