I am a freshman taking 24 credits this semester and 24 credits next semester as well. Call me crazy, but I'm really enjoying myself. This would put me at 48 credits at the end of the year. My adviser says I could easily graduate in 3 years instead of four. However, I have to do what is called a "junior production" and a "senior production" before graduating.

My question is, at what point would I be considered a junior? Is there a standard amount of credits that would determine your class year (sophomore, junior, senior, etc.)? Or does this vary by school? I am taking sophomore and junior level classes right now, but with first-year Gen Eds.

what are your options? I decided to take a really hard major at my current college, and even though I NEVER partied once and studied a couple hours daily (studying 3-6 hours daily now), I might be kicked out by the end of the spring semester if I don't bring my GPA up (I'm a sophomore w/ a 1.73 GPA). Also I think being depressed had an influence on my GPA as well. I would like to transfer to a college right near my house that is easier, but I don't know if they will let me in w/ my current GPA. So if I don't bring up my GPA, am I screwed? What options to I have? TIA

There are so many dates and names, and so much information to remember. I feel overwhelmed at times. I like history, but I struggle with retaining details, especially dates. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am working with my son on how to make plurals (school failed miserably, I'm working with him with a tutor now), and I need a lot of NOUNS ending with the letter Y to help him with the "add S" or "change the Y to an I and add ES" rule.

He's only in 6th grade so nothing too complicated, please, but I need as long as list as possible-- it's sure hard to search the dictionary after you've wracked your brain with words like "Story, gallery, alley, way, key, boy, toy, puppy"... you get the idea.

Any and all help appreciated!

I'm in 10th grade, which some may think is too soon to be getting ready for college, but I am. I'm going to start saving a little money out of all my paychecks so I'll be ready when the time comes. (I am SO ready to move out of the house lol)

My only problem is, I keep getting flyers in the mail about all these different colleges, and I don't know how to choose the one that's right for me. I'll probably go to our community college for like a year just to get used to the whole college routine and being away from home and stuff or whatever, but how do I decide where to move on from there?

I want to be a Travel Agent, and it seems like every college I look into has different ideas on the requirements of that job, and my mom doesn't think that it requires very much schooling at all, and I can't keep the facts straight! Help!

Is it better if I do Chemistry in university with a work placement or do Physics which only deals with theoretical work? I love both subjects but my problem is which will give more job oppurtunities in the future.. If I can't choose I might just do Interdisciplinary Sciences.. Is this a good idea?

Basically, I'm wondering if community college is a reasonable pursuit or if its not worth my time. I know that I would be able to do better, but for my particular situation, it may be something to think about.

I am in my third year of grad school in math at a very good research university. I believe
I am doing pretty well in my work. The problem is that I am extremely miserble... I typically
alternate between nervousness and depression.I get nervous about uncertain future etc. And then
depression kicks in: I ask myself, why worry about the future, would a postman's job
not bring me better pay, more rights and a higher standard of living? I am totally lost
about how I stand in society and see myself as a slave, who at 23, cannot even use a masters
degree to earn above min wage. I have never had a driver's license, still live with
a roommate and the money I make is awful. Life seems to be an unending wait for death
and I want to be sedated, or put out of my misery... I want to slit my throat, but
my courage fails me at that moment.

I plan on moving out of my moms house next summber when I'm 19. I'm going to be going to school in San Diego. I know MOST apartment renters require a credit check. I do not have a credit card but would to get one to establish credit. My mother is totally against me getting a credit card because of the mistakes she made a teen. I've learned from her the kind person not to be when it comes to money. If anyone has any advice on San Diego and/or my credit problem...help please!

The roots of the words commutative and associative are commute and associate. Look up each word on dictionary.com. How is each defined? Identify some synonyms used to describe each word. How can you apply each words' meaning to the definitions of the commutative and associative properties? Does a relationship exist?

I know that "He" is capitalized when referring to a deity, but should I capitalize "He" when referring to a specific person.

For example: Though John does not blah blah blah, "He" blah blah blah."

This looks incorrect, yet it almost seems like "he" should be capitalized.

There's a video on the net of a guy who put on 155 t-shirts over one another at the same time, breaking a Guiness World Record and also adding 100 lbs. to his frame.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6tlw-oPDBM

This begs the question: is he now bullet-proof? Can these 155 layers of cotton fabric stop a 9mm round from hitting his body? Can it stop more?
