So my mother and I have looked in online homeschooling recently because I've been diagnosed with depression and a sleeping disorder. I've messed a lot of days so we thought we would with draw me from school. So our question is how do we tell the school? on the HSLDA is says state requires parental notification only. So does my mom need to just write on a piece of paper that she approves of me getting home schooled? or do we need to print something of the internet to fill out?

While awaiting confirmation from Hotel A about the possibility of the six days’ reservation for His Excellency, if it is okay with you, we would like to look for a hotel near the area of the Conference, as a backup or alternative plan, in order to ensure accommodations during His Excellency's attendance at the Conference.

Therefore, we would like to request your approval beforehand to allow us to book a hotel room for His Excellency in case of *unexpected occurrence*.

I'm talking mainly about TV evangelists. Don't they have better things to do than to clog up the airwaves using donated money that could be used to help the sick and/or hungry people of the world?
I'll look for your answer(if any) at my e-mail yahoo ID [chrisj94558@yahoo.com].

Thank you in advance for your careful consideration....

ok, i have a child in the second grade who scored an 85 on a math paper. She got all the answers right. what she failed to do was underline the question in the word problem and then put a box around the main word in the question. this is what the teacher calls doing strategies. if she knows the answers and how to figure out the problem, then don't you think that these "strategies" are just time consuming and maybe even confusing?

My son is under special needs at school and unfortunately seems to annoy other children at times. Unfortunately whenever the headmaster has to speak to us he always talks about our son's 'acts of violence' towards other children.

I know our son hits out at children from time to time but to us doesn't seem violent. My thoughts on being violent are punching someone enough to break a bone, severely bruise or cause a nosebleed - which he has NEVER done and I would be absolutely mortified if he did.

All I am asking in this question is what you would call 'an act of violence' in a child. I know my son has done wrong and is being punished which is understandable but personally I feel that the headmaster is using too strong a language for this.

I have been told that not everyone is capable of performing exceptionally well.Apparently some students are 'gifted' in academics e.g maths and sciences(tough subjects) while other are either not gifted or they just have average intelligence. Is it possible for an average student through sheer determination to achieve as the so called gifted people i.e straight A's. Could i please have brutal honesty answers.i want to know the truth.Thanking everyone in advance

I am a new faculty member in one of the universities here in the Philippines. I was embarrasingly dismayed by the paper requirement submitted to me by my student are "cut and paste" directly from a website "word for word" and I say all of my 35 students! Both the contents and analysis were in "cut and paste" fashion.

I got a work study for 1500 for the year. They sent me a letter saying that I have to find a job on my own. I already have a job and because Virginia's min wage is so low, so i don't get paid a lot...i know i'm not going to be able to earn 1500 for the whole year.

So i'm getting a second job which pays less but I get to do my homework at hte same time so it's not that bad.

What i'm wondering is (i hate my first job--at the gym) is am I responsible for the work study b/c if its a loan, why are they going to pay me directly. I want to focus on school work so If i'm not responsible for my work study, meaning i won't have to take out a loan if I don't get the 1500, i would rather quit.

Hi, I have a high 'lower division GPA' from my previous college (above 3.0) but I have low 'Overall' and 'Upper division' GPA's because I had a bad semester & I screwed it up.

I am afraid that if I put them on my resume they will not consider me for an interview. If I omit them, should I also omit my 'lower division' GPA?? or If I include my 'lower division' GPA, should I also include the bad ones??

I am confident that If I omit them and get an interview I can explain this situation to the interviewer and probably get the job.

I need your opinions,
Thanks
