For my homework I have been asked to use certain techniques to write a paragraph discribing a tense situation I'm clear with all the techniques but I have no idea what to write about. It says I have to think about building the tension to the highest point in the story. Can anybody help ?

My son has been going to preschool when he was 2 till 3, I’ll be quitting my job and won’t have the money to pay for his tuition. Do you think he’ll fall behind if he doesn’t continue with preschool and just start kindergarten when he’s 5? My husband has never been to a preschool and he’s still smarter than I am even though I went to preschool. Even though my son learns a lot of conversational skills for the past one year, he learned most of his alphabets, colors, shapes, foreign language and numbers from me instead of the school. He gets sick 2 times a month from school and need to stay home for a week or so to rest. We still need to pay the full time tuition even though there’s about a week per month when my son is sick and absence from school. He’s tuition is about $750 a month. Is preschool really that important?

Can u go though College without knowing your Times Tables.

well im 18 and in college..and i dont know my X-tables.
its cuz i skipped 2nd grade..fyi: thats when everyone learned theirs. So when i got to 3rd grade i kinda gave up on it cuz every1 knew it already and i didnt. lolz.

I'm currently a freshman in highschool, and I'm aware that i might be a little too young to worry about college, but how does this sound for my resume so far?...

*I take part in Albany Park where you go to an elementary school in south chicago and help kids with science projects and crafts (community service)
*I kind of have a job... you come in early before school or your sudy hall and help clean out supplies for photography, you get paid $8.50 per hour... "fake job" photography assistant
* I will take part on the advisory board for my camp where you plan reunions, activities, some charity work, and ideas for next summer
* I haven't decided yet, but possibly I might join Relay for life which is also considered community service
*In the spring I will try out for either soccer or xcountry

I believe most of us learned this is about 2nd or 3rd grade...

When you are saying "your welcome" it is not something that belongs to you. It is a contraction of two words. Proper spelling of the word in this case is "you're" meaning "you are"

Unfortunately it is a common occurence that I have even noticed by college educated people, I have also seen it broadcast on national TV! More than likely it is just laziness, because it is something we learn so early on and it is simple for anyone to understand as long as you know the basics of the English language.
