You need to learn how to do this stuff at some point. Ignore all the Words and get right to the numbers. 1st question, 4 quarts per Gallon so 8 pts per gallon and 16 1/2 pts per gallon. then it becomes a multiplication problem 4 gallons of cream by 16 1/2 pts per gallon so 16 x the 4 gallons which equals 64. None of the answers you gave seem to be correct. Unless i am way off on this.

2. 60 minutes divided by 4 minutes 15 then 2/3rds of 15 is 10 hmm 10 mph?

3. well if its 1/2 as wide as it is long its 50 feet wide so you think of an actual rectangle ok you know the long sides are 100 feet and there are 2 sides that are long so 200 feet worth for the long way and you know that its 50 feet wide so the shorter sides are 50 a piece 2 of em so thats 100 feet more 100+200 = 300 feet.

4. ok so you can fill 7 1/2 cup servings with 3 1/2 cups 3.5x2=7 ok now you figure out how many times 7 goes into 60 or 60/7 which works out to 8.5 or so which means that to fill 60 servings you will need 9 cans as the number you got was higher than 8.

1. 64 1 gal=128 ounces, half-pint=8 ounces
2. There are 15 4-minute intervals in an hour, so he goes 15*(2/3) miles or 10 miles per hour
3. P= 2 (l+w). If w=l/2, then P=3*l. Then P=300
4. Each can can provide 7 servings. 9*7=63, so answer is 9.

well I'll help you on 2 cause I'm low on time...
for #2- remember it's miles per hour. If 2/3 mile is in 4 min., then how many miles would be in 60 min.? You can set up a proportion for then on. If you don't know how, divide 60/4=15 and then 15x2/3=...
for #3- think of the length of a rectangular as X, then seeing how the width is twice as long, it'll be 2X. So if the length is 100 feet, the width would be 200 ft. Now since there is 2 width and 2 length, it would be 200+400; the answer being 600.
Hope I helped...
