Can u go though College without knowing your Times Tables.

well im 18 and in college..and i dont know my X-tables.
its cuz i skipped 2nd grade..fyi: thats when everyone learned theirs. So when i got to 3rd grade i kinda gave up on it cuz every1 knew it already and i didnt. lolz.

But i know all the basic stuff 5x,2x, 10x,3x, ...

uh yeah...but you should know the basic times table (0-10). The earlier math classes probably won't let you use a calculator on tests, because they are basically testing you that stuff, but after about 101, most times you get to use your calculator.

You should probably get a math tutor before taking any math classes. It could seriously screw your GPA.

Well it is going to be assumed you know basic math operations in college and you will be allowed to use a calculator in most cases. But in advanced math, you can't spend lots of time on little things you should be able to do in your head. Do yourself a favour, and learn them. If second graders can do it, you can.

Why were you skipped if you couldn't do multiplication?

How did you get through grammar school and high school not knowing your multiplications? In our school system kids don't learn it anyway until 3rd and 4th grade.This question sounds fishy. If you're already in college I guess you'll find out.
