I am a freshman taking 24 credits this semester and 24 credits next semester as well. Call me crazy, but I'm really enjoying myself. This would put me at 48 credits at the end of the year. My adviser says I could easily graduate in 3 years instead of four. However, I have to do what is called a "junior production" and a "senior production" before graduating.
My question is, at what point would I be considered a junior? Is there a standard amount of credits that would determine your class year (sophomore, junior, senior, etc.)? Or does this vary by school? I am taking sophomore and junior level classes right now, but with first-year Gen Eds.
