My daughter was in a 3 yr old program last year and flourished. She did well and was the leader of her class. This year we moved to a larger town and put her in pre-school. First I want to know is it normal for a pre-school curriculum to have sit down work most of the day? And if it is, how do you get a child to sit and do their work when they want to be moving around? My daughter doesn't stay still well, and is very smart. But she is just so bored with the sitdown work that she will do anything to get up and move. HELP!!!

I want to be a social worker but that degree is not offered at my University. The difference between the BS and BA at my school is that in a BS you will minor in a science and a BA in an art. I would like to minor in a language but I hear BA's are not as lucrative as BS's. I know I will probably need a master's eventually as well. So what do you think?

My son is a Cub Scout this year and my daughter a Brownie. I've located a catalog full of all the Girl Scouts stuff I need to get for my daughter but CANNOT find a catalog for the Boy Scouts stuff I need for my son. I have to order his handbook, his outfit, the badges, all of it. I've gone to every cubscout/boyscout website I can find and STILL can't locate a catalog. Can someone PLEASE help me?? hello. I am currently a senior in High School. I will soon have to apply to the colleges of my choice after i retake the SAT. I want to become a veterinarian and i don't care how long it takes. But, the problem is that i did not work hard as i should have. I am planning to go into a transfer program and transfer maybe to UC davis for veterinary medicine. I have researched about Santa Monica College and it is said that it is easier to transfer to UC davis from there. Would transferring from a Cal state be more of a challenge? please help. I am going to make an appointment to talk to my counselor and also call UC davis.
