which battle in 1915 is mainly fought against british and another country which british won ? [ in WWI ]. And also, anyone know any info abt singapore in WWI?

They fought and claimed victory in a number of battles. The Battle of the Marne is just one of many. The two I will tell you were considered complete failures were the Battle of the Somme and Gallipoli. Gallipoli was the brainchild of Winston Churchill. He thought he could create a diversion by attacking the underbelly of Austria by way of Turkey. It was a disaster. One he was never to live down.
Singapore? Japan was just awaking (had been a closed society up to the begining of the 20th century. Attempted a little expansionism, as did Russia and China. Singapore was a British colony.

Um kinda hard to answer that question... there was alot of battles in 1915.. between British and Germany, but over half of them were Stalemates... (where neither side side)

i think singapore in ww2 was still part of malaysia so there was no singapore yet in ww1. the piece of land was there but it was called malaysia, a british colony, became independent sometime 1964 i think
