I'm doing homework concerning the Scarlet Letter and a section of the homework requires you to talk about the "novel's assumptions about humanity's moral character".



I had a idea of what moral character was.

Then I looked at the piece of paper.

I am high school student(senior this fall 2008) and right now, I am applying to colleges. I really want to be a nurse. I read most of the comments from other people, but everyones freaking me out. What they said was "It is so STRESSFUL" " You do not have a personal time at all" something like this. Is nursing school that hard? I got really bad scores on both chem and bio. I leaving for my second year of college at Ualbany in a little under two weeks...but due to some family situations I was left with practically no money. I'll be getting a refund during the first few weeks of school from the university, but I'm afraid that I might need books and other necessities for class before then...does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Or how long it takes for a student to get a refund check from the school?

I am an English learner and do not understand what does the phrase “I didn’t think so” mean in the following context (my suggestion is that it means either a) "That’s what I thought" or b) "Sorry, I didn’t mean it." Which is right or did I get it all wrong? Please help!)

I am going to create a scrapbook out of pages with the letters of the alphabet and things colored, glued, painted or stamped on them. I will be gluing red ribbon on a letter "R" for instance. I need ideas for small objects that begin with the following letters,
e, j, i, l, o, q, u, v, x, z,

I am also going to fill a basket with small objects that begin with these letters, I will have a small bag of acorns, some apples and such in a basket on the day we learn about the letter "A". I need ideas on things around the house and inexpensive items to fill my basket with each day, for all letters.

We will be reading a storybook each day that contains something that begins with our letter of the day.

I will be teaching a homeschooled co-op group and time is limited as is their attention span so nothing incredibly tedious or time consuming.

I have a learning disability and never did good on tests.I read all the time and yet I was told to get
a job where reading skills are not important.That
was a insult to me.When I went through bureau
on vocational rehabilitation they told me forget
college or any higher education,go to trade school.
I personally do not feel a trade would be a good match for me,I hate working with my hands,I
would rather work using my mind.There is no
way I will touch a trade school.I read all the time,
it was tests that were my stumbling block.
Why should I do something I do not want to do?
