start college next semester an just save my money this semester since my mom is moving out of state?

I'm not sure what the relationship between the two is. Are you saying that you will be moving out of state with your mom, so that you would need to transfer after only one semester? Or are you just using your mother's move as a distraction from school? If you are going to move too, I would suggest taking some basic classes at a community college so that you don't get out of the habit of studying, but remain mobile. If you are going to stay where you are now, then I see no reason to put off starting school.

I think yes, but *only* if you have what it takes to save money this semester and follow your plan. A semester off might lead to further procrastination and if you don't save money, you're back to where you began.
