This was part of the answer to current question in homeschool section. It made me think. What if the parent is not 'smart'? Would this keep a student who learns at home from being a successful adult?
How do we measure "smart"? How smart do we have to be to teach our children?

I have already completed :
My high school diploma
my AA degree ( Associate of Arts from community college)

im currently enrolled in :
AAS - Paralegal ( Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies )

my plan is to complete the AAS paralegal and then go on to the univeristy near my town to thier school of business to complete a bachelors in business admin..
does this sound weird? The fact ive already gotten one associate and want to do paralegal AND business. my reasoning is that everyone needs a couple of different skills to fall back on. and it wouldnt take much more to go ahead and get the paralegal since i already have the gen ed courses out of the way due to my ( AA ) degree. also, i dont want to stop there i feel like i wont have achieved my goals until i achieve AT LEAST a bachelors degree. does this sound reasonable?

I applied to 2 post bac programs this year. I've gotten a rejection letter from one and I'm pretty confident I will be rejected from the other. I think I got rejected because I made a handful of critical errors because I rushed my applications. I found out about them pretty late.
I'm thinking about applying again. Like next year. Are you allowed to apply multiple times? I'm already thinking about the changes I will be making on my next application.
If one does apply several times, what are the consequences?

I've already accepted a college offer and sent in my Intent to Enroll. However, just recently I have decided not to attend the university. Do I just write or call a specific department? Also, will there be any penalties for doing so? The college is UCLA. I've looked on the website, but haven't found anything. Thank you in advance.

These people get on here time and time again and question if it is better to be taught at home stating that parents are not qualified to teach. The national winner at the spelling bee this year, happens to be a homeschooler, is actually better at MATH and he beat out every one else!

What more do people need to see?

how to say these in tagalog?

*given your story, it's likely that we went to the same college during the same year, at least for a year.
*do you think i need to give 2 weeks' notice when quitting my job? Or more than that or less than that?
*how many weeks' notice should i give to the company?
*i think my boss won't let me go right away if i say i want to quit.
*i heard he called in sick again today. this is the third straight day. he might be faking sick!
*do we need to get a permission from our boss each time we go to the restroom?

thank you so much!!!

An oil exploration company currently has two proposals, one in Texas and the other in Oklahoma. Let A be the event that the Texan proposal is accepted and B be the event that the Oklahoman proposal is accepted.

Suppose that A and B are independent events with P(A) = 0.9 and P(B) = 0.7.

If the Texan proposal is not accepted, what is the probability that the Oklahoman proposal is also not accepted?
