This might sound a little childish but this is what went through my head when I was starting college.
What have you always wanted to do? What do you enjoy doing? If college sounds boring have you considered technical school. There you're not taking classes you don't need. You're only taking classes to improve your skill.
Good Luck!!!

I would suggest going to the career center at your old school and talk with a career counselor. They usually have test or questioneers that you can fill out to help you understand your skills and interest to get you on the right path to a fullfilling career. Before you go, take the time to think about what things you do enjoy and are not boring to you. Maybe you like working with people, in an office, traveling, or working with technology. Figure out what interests you the most and be able to share that with the counselor. Once you discover your interests, your counselor will be able to suggest careers and fields that you may be interested in. From there you find a major and the possibilities are endless.

Go to your local community college and visit their Career Center. They have a ton of personality/interest tests you can take (most are free) and find out about a lot of different career options.

From there, they can show you how much or how little education will be required to get that degree.

Community colleges also have "vocational degrees" where you study a skill or job designed to let you go straight into the workforce....for a fraction of what a 4-year institution would cost.

Good luck!

Consider the activities you enjoy. Consider the subjects/topics that keep your attention. Consider studying these things. Do you like to build things? Do you like stories? Maybe you could write. Do you like helping others? Find a way to serve. Do you like to grow things? Plant a garden or raise animals. Think about your interests. It may be in the field of technology, service to others, or even in the field. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Try different things and see what you like. You can get other jobs. You can quit and try another after giving it a fair amount of time. Just try. You might make an excellent cabinet maker or jeweler. Maybe you would enjoy being a silver-smith.

What are your interests? The main reason to go to school is to get a degree in something that you really want to do instead of just going to get a degree. Try taking some time and find what interests you. There are other types of training besides college for different interests.

You have to sit and think what it is that you are most happy doing and find some type of job that will be in the same field of your likes and interests
